I work 6–7 days a week. Sometimes for long stretches. And I’m not apologetic about that.

I love what I do. I believe in momentum. I think that building something meaningful requires seasons of intensity, focus, and showing up even when it’s hard.

But I’ve also learned this the hard way: Burnout doesn’t make you stronger. Recovery does.

Going hard only works if you also know when to pause. Rest isn’t quitting. It isn’t slowing you down from achieving your goals. It’s protecting the energy, clarity, and creativity required to actually reach them.

This week, we’re stepping away for four days. No chaos. No grind. Just rest, perspective, and space to breathe. Because I know that when I come back, I’ll be sharper, more focused, and ready to finish the year strong and welcome the next one with intention.

Here’s the balance I’ve learned: Work hard on purpose. Rest on purpose. Repeat.

If you’re building something big, don’t glorify exhaustion. Honor the rhythm that allows you to sustain success.

See you on the other side: recharged and ready.

We're closed the 14th - 18th. Back open on Friday at 4.

Cheering you on,

Mal
